How cold is the air supposed to be when it exists the vent?

Mine seems a little weak also.

I have no idea what it is supposed to be. They said mine was 44 degrees When I pick up tonight I am bringing a Thermometer and checking it. Then going to get inside a new one and check that. I just no somthing is off. When I took it in to dealer, my buddy was picking me up and taking me to work. His car was noticably colder then mine was at full blast and yes I had recirc on. He has a 2009 Ford escape.

early 2010's drainage tubes which exit over the transmission were sometimes kinked, and condensate does not drain, you could hear water sloshing around.
max a/c requires dial turned all the way to left to the snow flake, and speed turned right above the halfway speed II to activate.
mine seemed weak at first now works just fine even at 95 deg. +

Sorry to hear you've had so many issues with getting your AC worked on steveww. Have you been able to have the vehicle checked by another dealer just yet? Hopefully taking it to a new dealer will get the issue resolved but if not I am here to help.

Make sure you have it on recirc after you have been driving for a few minutes. It was 97 here today and mine worked fine.

Ok, I picked it up tonight. Before I picked it up I bought a thermometer. the kind made to put in your vent. after an hour driving on highway, with max air and recirc on, it got no colder the 59 degrees. Now this dealer told me they tested it and got 44 degrees. that is a 15 degree difference. WTF!!!!. Has anybody else tested theirs with a thermometer to see what temps they are getting. I guess I will try another dealership.

Went on a 5 hour trip awhile back, outside temp was 101 F , high humidity, traveling at 75 mph, fan speed halfway, temp reading on inside vent fluctuated from 40 to about 43, very comfortable, my only complaint is when car has been sitting in the sun for awhile , takes about 10 minutes before it finally cools down into the 40`s

My dealer just did this repair on my car today when I brought it in for an alignment (just installed lowering springs). I did not even realize it was a recall and wasnt having any issues I didnt think but now the air seems much colder. I have a very early build #10,954. Recall #09207.
