With a Much Bigger Cam Maybe.

This one is advertised to make 445 RWHP, and it made 449 RWHP, I would say that is a GOOD DAY!

Awesome numbers. Looking at ur dyno sheet, maybe I reading it wrong, but it looks like 40hp increase and 22 on the torque, hope I reading it correctly. Lol. Wen u say bucking, is that like surging or like jerking lol. I guess we all have different terms. Does the car shake at idle, min or alot? I getting ready to install one very soon.
Thanks for you time n congrats

Any Bucking or surging is addressed by the tune and is almost Non existent.

Car sounds awesome man...I'll be doing the JRE cam this spring. Completely off topic...what did you do to your rims? They look wicked.

ya i dont understad that other run. i dynoed 417 a few months ago. not sure that happen there.

yes the car shakes more at idle then stock. its not bad at all. one of the best things about this cam is that is sounds like a big cam when really its not and drives great for what it sounds like. livernois said my MPG should even be affected that much. they did allot of street driving when they tuned it.

Remember though, the 417 was on someone else's dyno . You can't cross compare different dyno's unfortunately.

Nice

And the cam will make your car noticeably louder especially at low rpms/idle. When I cammed my 05 GTO (had kooks headers and Corsa Exhaust) it got a lot louder. I almost hated driving through the neighborhood real early in the morning because of the noise.
I didn't have this problem before I got it cammed. I ened up switching my Corsa Sport over to a Corsa Touring exhaust to keep the noise in check a bit.

But people still looked and stared as I drove through drive throughs, etc. Sometimes I liked the attention, but other times it was a little too much.

Have fun with your ride.

but the sound of the cam makes up for it

Is this because of the cam, or becuase you tuned out decceleration fuel cut-off?

pretty sure its because of the cam and its normal . i think everyone would want the declaration fuel cut off because it helps with MPG. when i had headers ,CAI ,exhaust and tune it was there.

Ted,

Do you have to tune out the popping on decel??? I really like that about the LS.

And it was my understanding that the deceleration fuel cut-off is there to help MPG?
