Where to locate jackstands or blocks for winter storage?

I will be storing my ZL1 for the winter soon, and I need to know where the best location is on the ZL1 to locate wooden blocks or jackstands for the winter. I will be taking the tirings/rims off to store indoors for the winter. Any help? If it helps any, I'll upload an undercarriage picture later.

Why is this necessary? I have been storing corvettes since 1996 & have never jacked them up, pump up a little extra psi in the tires is all.

I believe its not advisable to let the suspension just hang like that all winter.

If neither of you know the answer to the question, why waste your time posting?

Because leaving the suspension loose for months will do more arm that letting the car sit with added air pressure. That's our 2cents.

I would never advise someone to do this unless it's sitting for the rest of its life.

I would make sure your floor is 100% level in every direction. If it wasn't I could see it doing more harm then letting it sit on the wheels and tires.

Place the jack stands under the sub frame.

I never said anything about leaving the suspension loose. I'd prefer to be blocked up on the suspension.

I found this photo of the proper lifting points in the misc gallery at the Z1 registry. http://www.***********.com/gallery.php
Basically, you just lift on the front and rear subframes.

These look like a good jackstand option. http://jackpointjackstands.com/

Do you have to remove the belly pan to access the ones in the front?

I believe the OP's reason was to take the tires/wheels off to store them somewhere warm for the winter, thus the need to rest it on jack stands.

Goodyear issued a bulletin a long time ago regrading proper care of the ZL1 tires in which they stated, the tires should not be even STORED at temps below 20 degrees F.

I also take mine off for the winter and keep them in the basement.

Fortunately, I have an extra set of wheels/tires off my 2011 SS than I can put on while the car is in winter storage.

Hey, finally someone with some intelligence posted on this thread instead of just offering their $0.02 opinion.
