Thinking of Doing Nitrous to the mighty V6.

what should i be looking for/ into. and what should i know. ive heard that it will mess up your motor. and that its bad. and of course its cheating but w.e. im thinking of doing it because i feel our 3rd and 4th gears are LONG! as in they take a while to go up. and with a little 50 or 75 or 100 shot. i would be more than please. please put your input please.

Couple things... done correctly N20 will not mess up your motor... second, it's NOT cheating. And finally running N20 on the street is not only illegal in 39 states, it's also going to be a bit useless.. It really is meant for the track... In the 1/4 mile you are really not going to hit 4th gear...

I posted a much of N20 info in one of the other threads... let me see if I can find it...

100 shot will kill that motor. It's not designed to take load. Pull it out and upgrade the internals if you really want to do that.

evidence to back up your claim?

The LLT is a pretty robust motor:

It's extremely efficient but it's nowhere near as well designed and built as the new 3.0. It's like comparing an LS3 to an LS7. The LS3 is robust but it's no LS7.

Still haven't answered my question? Do you have any evidence to back up your claim this motor won't handle a 100 shot?

No game.... just asking you to back up your claim... if you are going to make a very general and bold claim like that, please be prepared to explain your position and provide us with more facts to back it up...

Okay then.....you back up your claim that the LLT can take 100 shot. I want to know how many runs it's good for and why you think it's internals can take it. The burden of proof is actually with you!
