Looking to upgrade my Tranny....

Anyone deal with Tick performance? Looking to upgrade my transmission and came across these people....

Also anyone have this transmission? Looking for some reviews...

My stock tranny sucks...I can't even shift into 2nd @ 7000 rpm. Grinds like a B....:(

I have 628 rwhp and 553rwtq....

Thanks in advance camaro5

hey Kevin i contacted Jermey at Rpm and went with the level 6 build the best they make... i have around 840 rwhp/835 rwtq and its been great.. They are expensive but you can ask for a parts and labor build and they will upgrade eveything and use what is still good in your tranny and it will be alot cheaper. You can pm me and ask me what i paid , but my tranny was like new with 3k miles on it .

I also went with an RPM level 6 trans and while I'm not making the same power levels as Whipped, I sleep better at night having the peace of mind that there's probably no way I'll ever break it. RPM was also the only trans that Jannetty Racing recommended.

Thanks for the advice guys...so I take it I have to send them mind and get it rebuilt. What's the turn around time?

My tranny has 14,000 miles on it and about 15 track passes....

The reason I went with RPM was because I couldn't afford the downtime and just had them send one of their level 6 transmissions to Jannetty Racing and when they were done they just sent my old one back to RPM.

Hi Kevin,

We have a couple different options for you. We have a built ready to ship Level 6 TR6060 sitting on the shelf we can tomorrow or you can send your trans in for a parts and labor style build like Blake mentioned. A parts and labor build is about 1.5-2 weeks turn around right now. Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Thanks.

I could be interested in your cheaper option by sending you my tranny during the winter months when my car is off the road. PM me the details.
