My blacked out headlights/tail lights and berger panel
Working on restoring the headlights before and after flat black paint.. here is where I messed up..Let's see if you can figure out what I did wrong. my berger panel. Flat black with 1 coat of clear to go with the tail lights better pics coming tomorrow. next I'm getting my white stripes taken off and replacing with black that stops at the spoiler before now... my mistake was that I painted the reflector part of the headlights, that's what gives it that shine for a distance so now I have HIDs that I cant even see at night with...(serious brain fart) so now I'm in the process of looking for either reflector paint or film to replace what I painted ...

Keep the plastic lenses off the old ones as spares. Ever crack the lens on a new one, just pop the housing back in the oven and RTV the 'old' lens from your snafu onto the new housing. |

Why do you lows and highs not turn on together? Never seen a 4th gen camaro that didn't.

If it's just flat black paint try using thinner or something to remove the paint. If that doesn't work...
Use A/C ducting tape. Not the regular grey "duct tape" that everyone knows. There is some VERY reflective ducting tape that is basically aluminum foil tape.

And if you have any left over.. it's fun to play with.
We used it to cover up exhaust manifold ports on cylinder heads when the manifolds are off. It'll stick to anything and stay put as long as it has contact area. It does wrinkle easy though, so it could foul up the reflective properties of the lens. All else fails, just order a used pair from a junk yard or something. |

Reflective duct tape would work but I wouldnt go that route unless you want your headlights to look terribly ghetto rigged lol. Best bet is to just bite the bullet and pick up a new set of hedlamp housings. They can be found on Ebay pretty cheap.
