How Should Chevrolet Build The 1LE?

At fbodfather's request, please vote in the poll...

As well, if not enough "choices" were given, add your version here...

BTW, it's MULTIPLE CHOICE!

MG9 is the HD Tremec 6-speed, Standard on the ZL1. Stronger trans. means fewer "issues", down the road, for YOU and GM...

The concept description just says close ratio transmission. I would like that to mean MG9. Basically I want Lowdown's sig but an LS3 instead of an LS7, mostly because I believe an LS7 would put the car too close to ZL1 territory and price.

An LS3 engine with more cam in it would fit the bill. The LS7 would add to much the cost I'm thinking.

mmmmmm............for the record - the question I have is:

Should we offer the concept as you see it

or

Should we not offer the concept as you see it.

Very important to understand that powertrains aren't 'plug and play' -

You can't just grab and engine or a transmission or an axle and put it into the powertrain - there are all kinds of algorithms -- from throttle control to ABS to traction control.....etc.etc.etc.

If the choice is build it or don't build it.... I vote definately build it.

I really like a lot of the 1LE stuff... but also really like 2SS and RS content stuff. So maybe another version down the road based on a 2SS/RS and a little bump to the LS3 power, 1LE content, Z28 badges!

The only thing I wanted was the option to add different gears from the factory. Too late now obviously but would have been nice.
