Are the 14 and 15 v6's any quicker than the 10-13s?
I know the 14 and 15 have a little bit more power but I also heard they weigh more. What do these cars run in the quarter mile? Thanks

The 14-15s have no more power then the 12's and 13's. They all share the LFX engine. The 10-11s have the LLT which are rated a bit lower (312 vs 323)

13s are respectable ETs though. Firebreathing muscle cars like the 1970 LS6 Chevelle SS454 did a 13.4 to 13.88 stock, depending on which car rag you believed in 1970.
Losing by .02 second to an LS6 Chevelle? Not shabby.

In no way am i saying the 15 LFX is any quicker. I think there may be some slight differences. Im coming up with a different throttle body/TPS part number for the 2015 than compared to previous years LFX engines.
According to GM parts. This fits 2014 Camaro LFX (12632172 Throttle Body) but not the 2015 Camaro LFX.

Part number changes probably are from small internal revisions or consolidating parts from other LFX's. Even a few HP won't make a difference on the track with a car this heavy, and torque is the real number that needs to be increased on the V6.

Yours was quick until it blew up. Fast is relative

Even quicker after it blew up. Yes, fast is realative. You can draw an arbitrary line that excludes lots of cars. 11.5 would exclude ALL stock 5th Gen Camaro times, but let me feel good that magazine time say my Z05 would be faster. However, like you, I haven't poated a time slip to prove I can even get in that 13.9 to 14.5 range you drew your arbitrary line at. Those did run at the track, so until we provide a better slip, they are are faster than we are. That's not relative; it is absolute.
