HAHA calbert1999 I hate to tell you but Android is taking the smartphone market from Apple and blackberry. I have a hunch that it will really start taking the business market from Blackberry soon. I have the new samsung galaxy s and its not a toy phone to me its a great phone with more to offer then a blackberry would.

Thing is most corporations have invested large amounts of capital on BES environments. I doubt it very much "smart" business people are going to do away with all that investment and integration into their calendaring and email systems to have a few extra toy apps. that BB hasn't caught up to yet.
I don't know much about how people run automaker companies, but I can tell you how most organizations run their IT departments to coexist into their communications systems, besides (Apple Corp. and whoever makes Androids) I've never seen an Android or iPhone user at a meeting. However, I do see a lot of young people with them. Last time I checked not too many of these young people driving 2010 vehicles with OnStar. Just my observation. Could be a brilliant business strategy that will see returns in about 10yrs. or a really dumb decision by a lot of really dumb smart people.

Basically, if there is enough demand (noise) by consumers, I'm sure OnStar and GM will make the necessary investments to ensure the applications are backward compatible with 2010 and older vehicles.

To me much of what can be accomlished for those of us who own 2010 camaros is to build the necessary links withintheir system to allow us to access the features we need.

Remote Unlock, Monitoring Vehicle Condition, Vehicle location, etc.

GM, - Step it up guys, we were there whenyou needed the vehicle sales, now, build the links needed to make it happen for us.

I am on of these "young" people driving a brand new 2011 Camaro ss, own a house of and I use a toy phone, a Droid. Guess I should go turn my car in because there is no way a young person who is a hard worker could ever afford this car with out having a Balckberry, which let me add, I have had, and they lack in comparison to a real smart phone. Let me also add that I get all my work emails on my phone, and my work Calander, etc.

I want what's fair! Screw a HUD, I never paid a "HUD" bill, and neither have you! Your "HUD" never asked you for a credit card payment, and it will never put out an APP that leaves you or anyone else paying an equal fee yet sitting there outdated! Also, I can just buy a frigging HUD and the stupid windshield to go with it, but I don't want one! Onstar doesn't care what team they are on! Money, pants, and MONEY.

Onstar, can you feel that heat? YOUR PANTS ARE ON FIRE REAL BAD!

You should have set your pin when you setup your service. If not call On-star and they can help.
