Was trying to think, the fastest I've ever gone here in the states, highways etc?
About-ish speeds - Early eighties, passenger on a rice rocket going from Ft. Polk to Alexandria on a back, 2-lane highway 110-ish. Me driving, 1990 Chevy C1500 coming across Montana when they had the "As fast as safe" speed limit on the interstate, about 100. Me on my then new Kawasaki ZX9R coming back from night classes on I-435 around Kansas City, 115-ish. June bugs about killed me when I crossed over the Kansas River bridge. Ended up pulling over the next off ramp to wipe the guts and other insect parts off my visor so I could see more clearly and continue the ride home. Unless I can get on a local track or strip, don't think I will be tempting fate with the new Camaro, getting too old (and would like to think wiser) for the whole 'speed' just for kicks thing.

Errrhh
well, i try to be careful even though its fun to let it rip. but around here, the roads are congested (most, not all of the time) and its not too easy to "speed". but i have, and i think i ONLY got as far as 110mph. nothing too nuts but once i realized it, i let off the pedal. i think a flat, HOT open road in say... Nevada would be a life changing experience! haha! V

In germany in an 8 pack opel van going down hill 140ish on the dial.
In my 98 going up a mountain I pegged the needle. So I don't know how fast but the tach was still rising. The bike will only do 110 ish on a good day. I need to move to germany after I get my camaro. Or I'm going to get too many tickets. |

On the 401... Thats nuts. I rarely go above 150 these days, it's "street racing" otherwise.

95 mustang GT with 391stroker : burried the needle plenty of times 150+
95 saturn sc2 w/ t3/04 turbo 150 was the highest I've gone on that one Got a few tickets for 120+ when I get pulled over Twincharged gt40 well over 200, that thing pulls hard 1500+ hp. I was scared shitless. '07 mazdaspeed3 160ish my last big ticket was 137 in a 60, got tagged by motorcycle cop so I stopped. the Mazda was the most stable car out of all them at high speeds. it's also deceptively fast from a roll, I've beaten 12second cars with just tbe, intake, and a mbc. I'm more than likely done with the speeding on freeways now, the risk is not worth the reward. |

nope, all of them are spread out over 14 years. and I took the defensive driving options on all but the last one.
My court date was july 3 so the judge didn't come in, so they wrote off the charge and all I had to pay was a court fee. Got lucky as hell on that one. |

My 1990 cutlas supreme had a digital speedometer. First I wanted to see what would happen if I hit 85, well it kept going..... then I said let me see if I hit 100. Fastest I have ever gone is 101 mph in a 1990 cutlas supreme. that was fast enough for me. Im to much of a chicken s... now to go much faster then 80. Im thinking of taking one of those race driving courses when I get the camaro. I still wont go much past the speed limit but will be nice to know that I can handle it.
LOL I just realized. We all have admitted to speeding......... Oh S...
