Check Engine Light...

Iv had my v6 camaro for more then a year now and I have had my check engine light for awhile now. I have JBA headers and exhaust when it came on. Is it just because it needs to get tuned or a different problem im stuck with? =[ I also just found out im leaking oil...they found a crack underneath my engine where the engine belt is. Did I void my warranty? I dont think I did because the after market performance parts deal with air and shouldnt cause a crack.. Can anyone help? thanks!

You know I've had my check engine light on for over a year. I installed headers and a CAI kit + a custom tune. Isn't there a way to turn off the check engine light for good. Thanks in advance for any information.
