So i really want to get the cdc design sportsbar for my vert. Is it hard to install and who has it for the best price...i found it for 459.99 on WCC website (WEST COAST CAMARO). and does it really clear the tp by 1 inch when its up or does it rub...and i want it in red but im afraid the color will fade from the sun......any information from all yall members is a huge help!!!!

Just to make sure you know, it won't pass tech on the track if that is why you are getting it.

No clearance issues, all is good!

Mine is black so I cannot help with your color question...

It DOES look good...

There is a reason it is called "sports bar", not roll bar. It is pretty much for looks only. Have the install done by a pro.

When I found my slightly used vert, I ordered the bar and finally had the dealer install before I got it...

Sports bar I was thinking big screen tv's, girls in referee tops, hot wings and cold beer. But these could be neat too.

The bar is easy peezy to install, just make sure you have the tools listed, like three or four of them, tow main ones if I remember it as #20 hex and a 1 1/2 (or 1/4 not sure but its on there) hole cutter and you follow the measurements they list correctly. Take your time and you can have it in in a couple hours, sooner if your familiar with removing the seats and siding, that took longer as it was my first time.

Its a little nerve racking to drill on the plastic but it was one of my easier mods to install. Plus its cool finding out how easy it is to remove the whole back seat and surrounds so your not as leery of other mods back there.

As far as cramping, its just behind the front seats and only is a couple inches lower than the roof, I would say no more than a coupe with sunroof cramps up as far as headroom and that only effecting you when you get in the back, its forward of where your head would be when you sit.

On 1-5, 5 being the hardest, i would rate it 2 1/2, only due to you are drilling holes in so you need to use the measure twice rules, and it was a bit tight on two of the bracket nuts on install, not to bad.

2 guys in our club have them, and I the Revo Sport Bar... we all did our own installs... not hard. Like Rhydr said, a little nerve racking cutting the plastic, but fairly straight forward. The CDC fits "better" but involves a little mre work, the Revo is simpler to install, but a rubber mallet was my best friend during the install...

No top clearence issues with either... I've only had 1 adult in the back since the install..my 10 yr old daughter hass no issues, however my wife whacked her head (lol) gettin gin the first time.

Love my CDC Sport Bar!
Installation instructions were very straight forward and took me about an hour.
