Sounds like he's trying to sell the stuff he mentions at the end of the article.

Also, I thought it was fairly common that wax is for protection, not for looks, but he seems to go on and on about how everyone thinks wax is what makes your paint look better?

I've also never seen wax dry and flake off as he claims...I dunno. I'm no expert, but sounds like a sales pitch to me.

edit: amusingly, there's a warning thread about this stuff on Autopia, the same website the VaporWax guy warns about in the ebay pitch.

Ya ,I would say I agree. A lot of people are going to sealants vs wax though.

If wax was that bad the manufacturers would void your warranty with it's use. This guy is a total tool. And about the Autopia.org virus , I frequent that site frequently and have never had a bad experience.
