ITSX OWNERS UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE VIA SCT DEVICE UPDATER

I am told the communication problems are fixed and to have everyone update they're firmware.

There will still be a new Apple App update over the next few weeks but this firmware will work with your current App.

Open SCT Device Updater, Plug the device in to your computer, Device drivers will install automatically, Select Automatic Update then follow the Prompts.

I just checked this morning and its actually doing a firmware update right now and tune revision updates and I checked my app for updates and that too found one also. Tune revision is going from 1.007 Gm to 1.013 Gm, I hope it works. I've been waiting patiently.

Just finished updating mine. going to try it now. it worked it down loaded ted's tune going for a test run

Mine still does the same thing. It seems like it's going to work, it says "Preparing to download custom tune to device" and it just stops and then I get a message that the "Tune could not be loaded" or something like that. I guess I'll wait for the updated app and see if that helps. :(

Try running other thing (gauges, car info, iTSX info) leave key on then go to tune car and try that. With mine I have to go to info tap read car turn on key after it reads car I go to tune car and it works, a member here named parano, had to use gauges then tune his car and it worked. gess we'll have to do it that way untill the new app from apple comes out. let us know if it work for you, and what worked maybe this can help other till the new app comes out.

In the Mean time you can Load the tune from your Home computer or laptop to the ITSX via SCT device Updater.

I just tried that and at right at the end of the file loading I got a "Load Custom Tune File Failed (SF Error)

That is similar to the error I get when trying to load it in the car.

Any ideas?

Try renaming the file before loading it to the device since this name failed once already.
