There were only 2 cars I was dreaming about for the last 5 years, a 5th gen SS and a ZO6... I knew the SS was reachable and my dream came true! Thanks GM now I have new dream, and I am going to have to wait like 6 years before I can even think about owning that thing

Someone mentioned the weight of the ZL-1 earlier...our automatic car is 3840lbs., and has beafier axles, suspsension, etc, than it did when new. So it shouldn't be too much of a stretch for GM to get the ZL-1 under 4k pounds w/driver.

Also, might the new "vents" on the hood be a heat extractor of sorts for the intercooler?

Very nice. I'm a little saddened by the fact that I didn't wait for this, but that is a lot of power for a DD. I never go to the track. Beautiful car.

I'm glad to find that Chevrolet has continued development on the ZL1, because from reading many of the posts on Camaro5 indicating that there was no way the ZL1 was going to be able to compete with either the GT500 or modified SSs, I was beginning to think that Chevrolet was going to give up and cancel the ZL1.
