I did a muffler delete, sound was really good, even the popping on decel doesn't bother me... BUT...

The 2k drone did bother me a little, its so loud on the highway at cruising speeds (80mph) that hearing on-star advisors (I haven't found a method to turn them up) is near impossible.

I ended up FatMat-ing the entire trunk, and now the drone is basically gone, Monstrous on the outside, luxury on the inside.

I have the muffler delete right now with the stock H pipe (no X Pipe yet), not to thread jack but has anyone heard the before and after with the basis muffler delete (keeping stock H Pipe) then the muffler delete w/ the Magnaflow X pipe? The muffler shop I went to told me it would sound a lot better. I'm game as long as it doesn't make it quieter..I want a little louder actually.

Use the Magnaflow True-X pipe and not the resonated X-pipe and it will probably make it a little louder than what you have now. Even the resonated will probably be louder than the H but I wouldn't think by much.

Also....make sure to check out JDP Motorsports. Call them for the price. I haven't seen anyone beat their prices yet.

Most inspection places are morons about cars. They'll show ya thier certificate but lets face it they took a multiple choice test after a hour video at most.

On my 350z i cut the muflers off and it passed houston nazi inspection. They looked at rear for mufflers but nothing, i pointed to the resonators which on that car look like small mufflers and they said ok.

Camaro the resonators aren't easy to determine like the z. You wont be able to full em this way as easy.

I did muffler delete on my car a week after i bought it, lets face it stock camaros sound ........ well i never heard it. Once mufflers were off it sounded pretty good all stock. Now once i put the headers and high flow cats on it got way loud. So now i get harrassed by all the small town cops. And to another post the decel popping wont go away that easy get used to it.

The Muffler delete made it sound like a glasspacked truck IMO.

Do it!! Its loud but I still want louder, I am going to get headers later. It sounds good especially for how cheap it is. I set off a car alarm leaving my house, I was only going like 20mph

i have the muffler delete right now and i want to get a true x pipe but im confused i know the x pipe replaces the h pipe but would the resonators stay on still with the xpipe?

Anyone have LT's and muffler delete that didn't add mufflers after? It's a little too loud for me now, and the drone at 2k is HORRIBLE..... Do they make a dual in dual out muffler that would fit in the tunnel or do i have to had 2 mufflers again...?
