wait so if i signed up for this, does this mean ill be putting up my car for show? cuz i just want to go and check out others... i really dont have anything special on my car.... yet

You don't need anything special to show off on your car. Just being a Camaro is quite special enough in a general auto show!

hahaha true! i was just trying to get a better understanding of this event! pretty much 50 bucks to pay for a spot to put your car! right? lol

Yes. And access to the event, as well as a plaque saying you were there, and a lap around the speedway.

I don't believe this is any judged show - basically just a reserved parking area. The "Celebration of Automobiles" is the judged show.

They are doing something similar for the Grand Am Race (Friday before the Brickyard). $50 for that as well and you get a general admission ticket to watch the Grand Am races!

I'll probably drive down Friday morning and then chill out that evening. It's about a 8 hour trip for me. Not bad...but I'd rather it be light out when I do it.

Does not look like I will make this car corral (or even opening day at this point).

I did however buy my ticket package for the 7/27 Grand Am Car Corral, maybe I will see some of you there

Right now I'm good for Opening Day at IMS but won't make CICC show on tomorrow. I'm having some real issues with this last knee surgery from Feb.6th. Fingers crossed for 5/12 & 5/26

Hope you feel better!!! If you're there on the 12th...come and find the Camaro5 flag and the two silver Camaros flanking our tent.

As Killer said - we'll be there, and I'd LOVE to meet up with as many Camaro5 people as possible! Keep an eye out for us!
