I'd hardly say buying new tires constitutes a repair lol

Haha. I feel you. I'm finishing my last effing class for my second masters. I still refuse to do homework on the weekend though.

Allegedly. They looked the same and had all the same curb rash. And that was only two anyway. But impressive/scary memory

I've used the DWC on my sisters 2011 Cruze and my 2011 Camaro.... Had no issues with discoloration either. It cleaned both sets of wheels great!

Also used this on my winter foose wheels and no issues either

@ CD07 - maybe Discount Tire would give you a couple of weights to pass along to Adams if you explained the situation to them.?

@ Adams - I assume this cleaner also works with the black 1LE/ZL1 wheels? Picking up my car in a few days and I'm getting my cleaning supplies ordered.

Yes, works fine with matte wheels.

Just remember the two golden rules:

  • Don't use it when the wheels are hot.
  • Don't allow it to dry on the wheels.

What would be the point? Just wipe down plastics with soap and water.

Wasn't intended to be confrontational. Sorry if that's how it came across. Tone and text don't mix, sorry bud.

I finally got around to trying this out. I thought My wheels were spotless but man did this stuff pull all kinds of nastiness out! Also My wheel weights did not discolor.

Me too - 4 BLACK puddles in the driveway... (But they hosed right away.) No discoloration on my weights, either - but mine are stock.

I have to say I love how this cleaned my wheels, but I used nearly 1/2 a bottle in one washing!
