Nothing that I'm certain about, but I feel like it would give you a very very slight performance gain and deeper tone not much though like not even noticeable. But if the 2.25 and 2.50 are the same price or a little up charge go for it, it dosent hurt only helps

If the stock pipes are 2.25, don't go bigger. Yes, it can hurt. Scavenging is what it can hurt. Loss of scavenging can be just like a noticeable loss of torque...because that's what results.

I have a new 2lt convertible inbound with the NPP exhaust option. I know on the Corvettes this option will increase the HP. Anyone have any ideas of any performance gains when its ordered on an LFX??

I have a solo conv catback system on for delivery on Monday. Can't wait.

Feel like I am driving a rental car right now.

GM should add the dual mode as a std to the 2LT and 2SS cars.

Noticed no videos of the SLP Loudmouth 2

Idle Sound

Cabin/Tunnel

First one is from a 2013... The last two are mine from a 2010 V6, but it gives others an idea of idle, cabin, and tunnel sound.

Why isn't this a sticky??

Anyway - anyone running the Pypes? I like the sound and really like the price. Curious if issues with Drone - not that I probably would care too much.

I saw a sound clip on youtube and it sounded similar to the Corsa I thought but a little raspier, and about half the price.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any info to offer.

Looks like I'm the first to try the Gibson axleback on an LFX? I decided to purchase it after watching many exhaust videos, I thought the Gibson sounded good on the LLT, and hoped it would sound good on the LFX as well...

I think it sounds pretty good, but it's a little on the drony side... I'm going to try and make a better video this weekend when I have more time (some drive by footage, etc.)

It was only $299 w/ free shipping. My one big complaint about it is the tips... I've got them cranked down as tight as they will go, and they are still loose. I'm going to have to tack weld them onto the pipes.
