Going on the dyno tomorrow for E85 and injectors
Taking my 2013 auto ZL1 to fasterproms tomorrow for E85, injectors, 2.5" pulley, and a tune.
Car has long tubes, 3 inch exhaust over the rear up to stock mufflers, stock injectors, 2.75" pulley and a crappy tune. What do you think it'll make? |

yes, as far as I know. Nothing appears to have been apart before
Brand new stock ZL1 pump, the FPCM was reprogrammed as well. I believe I've run out of pump so I'll have to add an auxiliary pump to get more out of it 622 HP / 635 TQ on E60 599 HP / 613 TQ on 93 |

All in all he did 7 pulls on the dyno with a cool down in between. The we drove it on the street while he made adjustments until he was satisfied |

What the hell is going on on the power band? I have never seen a dyno sheet look like yours. Every dyno sheet I have seen the power band lines are straight and not look like the power is up and down? Please educate me on why yours looks like it does please.

Looks like possibly the smoothing setting is different than 5 or the car is not strapped good on the drum.

@53 L W already answered that part. Having the graph artificially smoothed too much might hide something so it's better not to do that unless the customer wants a pretty one.
By the way dyno operators can also plug in numbers like temperature and pressure and altitude to make the numbers on the graph move up or down and not represent reality. Happy cusomers that aren't real racers looking to determine what real times they will run prefer a mine is bigger than yours. This isn't a dig at the OP awsome car, it's about dyno games. 622 HP / 635 TQ on E60 599 HP / 613 TQ on 93 I just noticed the 93 and e60 numbers. Not talking about what peak numbers STD vs SAE etc, the spread there doesn't look right. I don't really care to say more and have no bad comments to make about your tuner. Just pointing that out and others might care to guess what's going on. Last edited by silversleeper; 09-10-2023 at 07:54 PM. |

It has a brand new stock ZL1 pump so my next step is to add an auxiliary fuel pump to solve the fuel supply issue. https://dsxtuning.com/collections/au...nt=58596002379 Also going to add spacer plates for the blower to lower the temps as well. I might research adding a higher flowing intercooler pump from prospeed https://www.prospeedautosports.com/c...pro-09-07-1005 Let me know what you think? |
