im running innovators west 8 rib kit, it was pricy but worth it around 1300$, never have had any issues with belts slip with the boost turned up. I didn't think you need to 10 rib until get power level above 800-900.

I like the idea of a 10rib but i agree. Prbly would be overkill for my application for a while. It was $1300 for everything? Who did you go thru?

went directly through innovators west to get my kit, I think its higher with shipping, but went through my shop to get it, that does all my tuning, might be closer to 1400 now, will have to look them bought it almost a year ago.

Did that price include an upgraded tensioner? That's what usually makes the upgraded setups so expensive, add the pulleys and balancer that come with the kit, then add a blower pulley, then $350 for a upgraded tensioner...adds up quick. That's why we are working on our 8 rib kit with overdrive balancer, including all pulleys and a upgraded tensioner, that will come in at quite a bit less than all the other options out there. I don't think that with an upgraded tensioner, and an overdrive balancer to allow for a bigger blower pulley, that anyone will need the 10 rib until they get to the 800ish HP range for sure. Maybe higher if they are not running a lot of boost.

I believe it did include everything, I know the new overdrive balancer was included. To be honest when I did this setup there were very few options for 8 rib kits, compared to more 8 rib kits available now, the big snag I ran into was, the electric water pump pulleys that I needed were diff. than what came with the innovators west kit, so innovators west had to custom make some separate pulleys to work with their kit.

I did the LSA drive system when ADM did my 417 build and it was 2,500 I think but it puts the blower on it's on belt and it is a 8 rib and has not slipped on me at 14.5psi.

Thats some pretty heavy boost numbers there. Are you running a forged bottom end?
