I iced the tube down and picked up a bit, installed my plastic home made setup and instantly gain my power and ET back. You will probably get similar results with any brand just make sure you run the plastic tube!
Doesn't CAI come with an alluminum pipe?

Kinda hard to take your input as a consideration with that test, your ETs seem low for the setup you have.
I don't mean it in a bad way.

+1. Holy Hydrolock batman!
That's why no one runs it. Go through a big puddle and your motor is toast!

This unit that I now have on my car comes out real well in testing and the quality of the product is superb.

It is being overlooked and all of you guys might want to give it more consideration.
Just my 7 cents

I have a tiny cam running on stock valve train, headers, and a stall. I think my car runs damn good for a 3.45 gear with a 2.48 first gear. It's only been on the track one time with this setup and I have fine tuning to do. Sorry your not impressed but I am on the fast list also, that must say something.

That's why I said don't take it the wrong way. But your basically running bokt on times. And judging by the JT's test on the adm is a good example of a test IMO. He picked up MPH and better ET. He runs the same times back to back. By no means am I dissing your setup. Thats why on the other post I mentioned bigger cam.

All I know is what it did on my car at the track. The tube would very hot, much hotter then the plastic tube after a pass. My friends intake was also running much cooler then the CAI after we would run, his is also plastic. I put a bag of ice on the tube and cooled it off and picked up mph, put my plastic setup on and ran my fastest pass if the day. Take it how you want, ill never run anything but plastic.
