Hello from East Texas

I picked up a 2015 2SS/RS.
I'll be hanging around and doing some browsing on here, trying to learn what's the best mods are and how to perk up this L99, if that's cool with you guys.

Thanks,
Jeff

Very cool....Welcome to the Forum.
The problem is that you will get more ideas than you'll know what to do with. All you'll have to do is come up with the money
Enjoy your ride....

Welcome!!

GPI, and Futral Motorsports will get you setup with a nice VVT cam when the time comes.

Thanks guys,
I think I will have to start off small, maybe an exhaust that I can hear, and an air intake to get her breathing a little better.
I see there is a lot of info on here and it will be good to learn from others lessons learned by trial an error.
I've been trying to get up to speed on the difference from the LS3 and the L99, I haven't had much to do with the LS engines since I sold my 02 Z06 years ago, so I have some catching up to do.
"GPI, and Futral Motorsports" hmm, VVT cam? I've got my work cut out for me.

Of coarse everyone has their opinion on what CAI and headers are best, but I'm running ADM CAI with race scoop, and tsp 1 7/8 headers and don't have a single complaint about either.
The VVT (variable valve timing) in the L99 is pretty awesome. With a VVT cam you will make more power throughs the entire rpm range than you will with the LS3 conversion. Just look at the cars and times on the Fast List here on C5.

jeff, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I plan on waking my new toy up with some goodies, I'm thinking forced induction should get me where I want, but need to do some research on what all that needs to be done as well.
