ls3 intake manifold porting
I was advised I should sent my manifold to Peaks Speed Shop if I wanted to port it. Just wanted to chime in with you guys and hear your .02 before I actually pull the trigger..
Has anyone had any problems with this shop? Or with their porting services? Do you recommend this shop or is there someone better? I sent an e-mail to them asking about their services and prices and Bob Schustedt replied THE SAME DAY. His reply included everything from prices to ordering links to telephone number to be reached at etc. Even considering the fact that I had never heard of this shop, I dont doubt this shop is 100% leggit and that is does good work. Just felt like I should ask my c5 fam for advise and guidance.. Thanks in advance!

I would look into BER (bare essentials racing) before you make a decision. Not sure what the price is you got, but BER is reasonable and gains are close to that of a fast manifold.

Check with GPI. Rhino79 on here. They do porting and i have heard nothing but positive results on here from people that have had theirs done by them.

I wouldn't go with Peaks at all lots of unhappy customers on other forums.

Price I was quoted was $370 for a radical port plus an additional $75 if I wanted my TB ported at the same time. I'm pretty sure these prices exclude shipping

I'm interested in getting my intake ported as well. Is there a better way to contact Rhino79 than through pm? I pm'ed him 3 or 4 days ago and haven't gotten a response yet.

He does more than just porting though. He does his "secret sauce" mod as well.

I went with BER because they were the only ones to show the dyno results in comparison to the FAST intake manifold and the stock intake manifold. And they are posted on this forum. A lot of these companies have high claims but no actual numbers or graphs to prove it.
