Hello everyone I am new here. I've been watching this post for who knows how long. I'm not intending to jack this thread but was wondering if you guys could help me out. I'm finally in a position to where I can buy and I've considered new but I'm looking for something used (a lot more reasonable financially). I've been looking for a 2LT RS automatic w/o a sunroof. I've expanded my options to include IBM, SIM, RJT, and Black. I realized that used is going to limit my options. My question for you guys is, who were your dealers and do you think that they would work with helping me locate this vehicle (had a different dealership out of town offer to do this). I just want to get a good deal seeing how this is my first car purchase.

Do a search on the internet. If you can cut out the middleman(dealer) you will save a few bucks.

haha At the mach speeds I travel, Red tends to blurr into yellow !! The black "stripes" may have been donkey hair from a previous incident!

I looked at an extended forecast for the 20th, and so far it looks good. 50 degrees and sunny is what it says for now. I'm keeping my fingers cross. See you all there, bright and early.

Lets get a list started for the Adam's Detailing clinic. I see that the following will be there.

Checked a Victory Red 2SS at a unmentioned dealer tonight. They wanted to charge me an additional $2850 for a SmartMirror that they installed. It also had a camera by the back plate that shows on the SmartMirror while backing up, which not sure I want this on my Camaro. It wasn't listed/added on the sticker so it caught me off guard when the MSRP was $38.5k and then they wanted to tack on the price for the SmartMirror putting over $41k. While this was a cool feature, I don't think its worth this much. The dealer got kind of ticked when I advised him of such. Did any of your dealers budge when haggling the price? I can put money down, and I get the GSM discount for the company I work for which is approx $1300 according to the dealer. Appreciate the help.

keep looking. I personally don't see the need for a smart mirror. That's just me

Ok before I post this on the big board I was wondering has anyone heard about insurance for just the race track? Such as going to Bandimere for the summer. Anything out there that would cover something happening out there? I searched the forum and didn't come up with anything other than regular insurance.
