I used a K&N 63 series cold air intake and had the same problem. Check engine light; Too lean code. Tried cleaning the mass air sensor, resetting the computer, pulling fuses #5 and #20, reinstalling the intake, etc. and nothing solved the problem. So I called K&N customer service and spoke with a gentleman named Troy. He explained that they had been having that problem with the 63 series filters and offerred to swap out the whole intake for the K&N 69 series Typhoon air intake for free. He sent the new one by 2 day air as a courtesy. I installed it about a week ago and the check engine light hasn't come back. Great customer service. Highly recommend

I installed the Spectre intake a few weeks ago, I love it! Mine didn't come with a sleeve? I did get a check engine light immediately after, but I cleared it with a friends scanner tool and haven't seen one since. I think you could also disconnect the battery for a bit to clear the code also if you get one.

Here is mine installed

You do realize that clearing the code just turns off the CEL light on your display, and does not fix the problem? That code was thrown for a reason, probably regarding A/F ratios outside of the computers parameters, which can cause issues over time. CEL's are not good and are there to warn you of an issue that can cause damage if not corrected. For your own sake and saving yourself a lot of potential repair costs down the road, make sure the problem is fixed. You don't want to have serious engine problems caused by a $200 part just to save a few bucks.

Hopefully you get the issue resolved, take care!

Fuse pull is standard installing these so everything re-learns properly.
If it doesn't work i would return it.
