How do you guys handle the No Spare Tire issue?

This is mostly my fault for now knowing when I bought the car and the salesman said nothing not having one. I just assumed there was one in trunk. But now since I know, I am pretty freaked out about what to do or carry in the car in case a tire goes.

Your Camaro does come with an inflator kit, and there is always Roadside Assistance as well.

Right the Roadside Assistance I know. But I am kinda thinking if the inflator kit doesn't work? I never didn't have a spare to change out on any other car I owned.

I don't worry about it. you can't carry two different sizes tires, so I will call roadside if it happens to me.

I've had a blowout before, just used OnStar to call me a tow truck, they paid for the tow so that was easy.

And for a flat the inflator kit works if you cant get to a place to patch in time.

This day and age it is so dangerous trying to change a tire on the side of the road so I won't. My view on owning this car is "it's the cost of doing business", meaning the cost of high test, tires constantly, and yes calling a tow truck for a flat tire when I "could" change it in 15 minutes if I had one. It just goes with the territory. I won't put that inflate a tire crap in their either.
I won't jinks myself but ask yourself how many flats have you and your family had in the last 10 years. It really doesn't happen that often.

I didn't like the fact of no spare either. I just bought the spare and spacer kit.

I have been driving since 1987. I have a car that I have put 300,000 miles on. I never had a flat in it. I have had one flat in over 25 years. Cars simply don't get flat tires like they did in the bad old days. I would guess that I have driven about 3/4 of a million miles so far

Buy a CTS spare and keep it in the trunk.

Simple, I am buying a full size spare for road trips. It can be brought to me if I'm local. It will be a cold day in hell when I am depending on a tow truck over something as silly as a flat tire. That amounts to an emergency room trip over something a bandaid could fix. Never mind the damage a rollback is going to do to my lowered 1LE trying to load it.

Edit. For what its worth I had a nail in my V6 car once and have had at least one full or partial flat in every vehicle I have driven since '05 when I started dricing, so to me a spare tire is peace of mind. Luckily no major tread separations and all were repairable, but all required a spare.

Nailed it, in the past ten years I've had one flat and the most recent five of those years have been flat free and have been in three cars that didn't have a spare. the flat was in 2007 if I remember correctly.
