I've never installed aftermarket wheels before, so I would just need some help, these rims have the same bolt pattern that my trans-am has ( 5x4.75") is there anything else that I should take note of before purchasing this wheel? also if you guys have something in mind please give me your thoughts

Yes, definitely research the reputation/quality of the wheel and wheel manufacturer. You'll wish you did if or when something goes wrong. Secondly, research the weight of the wheels in comparison to other wheels in its size and general price category. You want the lightest wheel possible (reducing rotating mass improves acceleration, braking, and can affect gas mileage) without spending a fortune, yet find one that has fantastic durability and longevity. Thirdly, look at the offset of the wheels. This means a ton because even though the bolt pattern is the same, the wheel when mounted on the vehicle may stick out past the fenders leaving it at risk of tearing it to pieces if you hit a bump in the road, and lowering the car even the slightest be may be impossible because there won't be any room, and the tire choice you have available to you is slim because you would have to find a tire that has a width allowing the tire to tuck inside the fender well if even possible. However, if you chose the correct offset (varies), you'll be sure that you can chose a variety of tire sizes with a width that can improve performance, as well as be lined up or tuck in the fender and allowing you greater choices for suspension mods and less worry. Do some research on various offsets that are commonly used on that same year and specd transam.

Ok good news, thanks to summitracing, I got all the info that I needed for the wheels, turns out that the largest wheels I could fit in my car without any adjustments are 18" wheels ( just what I wanted) and the offset is 32mm. Valuable info to me. Returning to silverslayer as the topic, the brake pads are handling great, it stops faster as well, mods that are hopefully comming soon are the afterburner's and 3D carbon side vents, maybe some more stuff but not sure
