North State Camaros Tahoe Weekend August 25th and 26th - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey all,

We are planning a trip to Tahoe on August 25th and 26th. Driving in on Saturday am with a cruise around the lake on Sunday. Maybe take the gondola up to heavenly for lunch and a beautiful view of the lake or stop by river ranch on the way around the lake for a burger...

Anyone is welcome to join us, those of us up here in the Chico and Redding area will need a break from the heat by then and there isn't a better way to do it than a trip to the sierras. Also if anyone has connections with Harrahs, Harveys or the Montbleu for room rates don't be shy about letting us know. Thx and hope everyone is having a great summer.

Im goin up to Reno for Hot August Nights. A couple years ago several of us went to Tahoe and then to Reno for the event. Last year I met (Joe) 2tonsofun. This year I'm meeting Showstoperz up there. I don't know what your Sced is like, but Hot August Nights is the biggest hotrod & classic car show event in the U.S.

The schedule for most of us in our group don't work for hitting up the big weekend but we did get to hit Kool April Nites in Redding and we still want to get up there. Like I said, anyone is welcome to join us for the weekend or just for the cruise on Sunday unless you're all Tahoe'd out. Sounds like there are other groups going up on different weekends too.

Some of us are making a run up on 8/11 and coming back 8/12..We are staying at the silver legacy..come join us ifyou are interested...We are going up via hwy 70

Thanks. I'll be @ the Eldorado 9th & 10th; looks like we'll just miss. I usually stay at SL, and park on roof of Eldorado where you can watch your car from your room:
