Brake pads/rotors.

So if I am replacing my front rotors due to it being warped, do I need to replace my brake pads as well? The pads still have alot of meat left.

Yes get ceramic pads you will spend less time cleaning your wheels. I will let the rest chime in on how amazing this is that pad are with no concern because your probably not weekend johnny racecar driver. And can accept that new rotors and ceramic pads will stop better then warped ones.

No, you can keep the same brake pads, just hit them with some sand paper to rough them up a bit and do a bed in process like new brake pads.

Ceramic pads will not stop better than the OEM ZL1 brakes.

If I do get pads im going with oem. My concern is if the pads are damaged or un even. Would it cause the rotors to warp again?

+1. JusticePete, had a lot to say about the reduced braking on the ZL1 going ceramic.

Myself, new pads with rotors, but you can sand yours up a bit to bed them in.

What makes you think you have warped rotors?
