New 1le owner, better than a tbss?
I'm a new camaro owner ( 1st gen 5). I've used this site & forum to research the new gen camaros before I bought 1 ( 2months of research). I started looking into the 2014's after my tbss was stolen. I miss it, BUT the 1le helped me get over it faster. I loved the fact that I had a suv/truck that could tow, had plenty of room, & had the heart of a vette. That thing pulled hard w/ it's 4.10 gears but was heavy bc it was based off a truck platform.
Now this is my 1st time owning a gen 5 & driving 1 for that matter. So I don't know if all ss models have ......., but the 1le pulls like a freight train & the gears are so tight, wow. It handles like nothing ive drove before & I can't get enough. Anyway, I got a '14 black 1le 2ss, npp, rs, nav, didn't get the recaros bc I couldn't find 1 w/ them in the price range I wanted to be at (they all came w/ sunroof & I didn't care for it). Plus I figured I could get them later. |

Sorry to hear about the TBSS. I couldn't part with mine, but its a big one and it can put it (gas) away; On the other hand, my 5th gen's no featherweight either.

Yes it did put away gas, but I'm finding out that the ls3 will also if idling. The camaro 1le sure feels nimble, but I've never driven a reg ss, so I don't know the difference

I had an 08 TBSS AWD, few bolt ons and I LOVED it. But my 1le has made it very easy for me to move on! lol Congrats on the purchase!
