Looks like GM is using the philosophy of form following function, which is understandable. However, to me, that hood looks like someone designed a car and then had to find a solution after the design was done to disapate heat. I just don't think that the design flows with that hood. Maybe it will look better in person? I don't know though. I like the look of the SS hood infinitely better.

In any case, if you are sitting behind the wheel of a 556+ HP Camaro, the view is going to be pretty cool!

I love those wheels! I've loved those Super Snake wheels forever, too!

This is very interesting. Btw: any idea how much this HP Edition might cost?

Corvette GS is about 54k to start
Caddy CTS-V is about 62k to start

HP Edition can't start anywhere higher than an entry level Corvette GS... or could it?

Don't you mean function over form?

Same thing, he just worded it different.

I kind of agree with his assessment of the CTS hood. From a design perspective, I'm not so sure. It's different, I'll give it that.

Not buying the comparison.

I'm still seeing a TF2 like air intake under the hood covers ...

Besides, I hope it won't be CTS V like .... cause that caddy hood is fugly!

If I remember correctly, on AUTOBLOG we got to see the CTS-V race car with mags belonging to the SSX. Very nice post!!! I can smell the Z in my parking lot.

Damnit GM why are you making me wait LONGER!? OH wait . . if youre "widening" the fenders and quarter panels for a wider more aggresive stance to cover all that rubber you're mounting on it. . . I s'pose I'm ok with it.
