But I do agree with you I think he'll be fine with the latter, but buying axels/driveshaft/building the stock diff you might as well have spent the coin on that gforce kit on the forum. |

SWEET Camaro, a real Beast !!
Don't forget the 18" C6 rear wheels and M/T Drag radials (or better). You will need the traction to keep from slipping all the way down the track. I want to keep up with your track times. Good Luck at "No Problem" Raceway, one of my favorite lil tracks in the swamps...............ha ha

Should be a 9sec car easy. But from what I noticed on here none of the guys posting big numbers ever post time slips
See no reason for that kind of hp if you're not going to take it to the track and spank some ass. Not saying the OP is not going to track it. Just going off all the other high hp threads. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |

This is definately not my first rodeo. This cars first time down the the track it only had 700 miles on the clock. My first time down a track was in 1978 and have been racing since. Track times will come as soon as i get the back end beefed up.

Dragging your car at 700 vs 850 rwhp is a world of difference. There's a very good reason there are what 50, at least, 700+ rwhp cars, and about 10 are in the single digits. It's not that easy to move 4k lbs down 1320'.

When you get down to 6.0's and under in the 1/8 that's when you better hope your car is built to handle it. The wall hurts.
