Clutch Pedal stuck, minor driving?

I have a 2010 camaro 2ss m6.

While driving in the city at a stop light i decided to switch lanes. I needed to accelerate little so I decided to slip the clutch slightly at 1600 rpm to a get a slight jump into the next lane.

After i was certain the the clutch was balanced out I depress the clutch pedal out and then began to slowly accelerate. I noticed i wasn't going anywhere and the car was free reving with a slight bite on the clutch. I Immediately could smell burning clutch. Pulled up the pedal manually with my toe and double pressed in the clutch to get it to engage.

This is the first time this happen and I am very concerned.
I haven't been to the dealer yet but I'm really tired of getting the run around from them. I been there 8 times to service defected problems already. Does anybody know what the issue is? I think its very dangerous. I really starting to not like this car and the service of my dealer sucks. I find this car very fragile, even my 20 year old nissan hardbody dump truck is able to do this kind of driving without any problem.

They'll just tell you that you don't know how to drive. They dodge clutch issues like a politician dodges questions!

I'll keep everyone updated. Bringing it in on Monday. I feel as my clutch has been prematurely worn without me even ragging on it. I feel as if i should be the one to use up the consumable parts on my brand new car, not have it used and abused from a defect. GM service now-days is the worst from my past experience.

Fellow Camaro5 members, if you have some similar experiences our comments to share please don't hesitate to do so. I am really looking to get some info/advice on this issue. As of now the clutch grabs differently from before, i think it got glazed.

There are plenty of threads on this. Search is your friend. GM won't replace it.
