well, in honor of that video- I decided to go try it out for the first time this evening (my tires are toast, already- 13,000miles) My invo's should be coming in next week.

open parking lot back down behind the main road.

first shot was the double-tap (sport mode)
clutch in, first gear, floored it-holds at 4.4k- dumped clutch, immediately switched to brake.
car lurched about 8 inches and then its all gas and feather the brake....gotta love the rollin smoke! then peeled it out--naturally- i mean c'mon hahaha!

turned the car around, lined her back up- hold TC down for 7 (all off)

floored to about 4-5k dumped clutch and smiled- 1'st, 2'nd just like the video with a 7' gap. you spin so much in 1st, you have to shift to second to keep her alive, when you shift to second, gas it again & burns em.

it's the simple things in life that just make you smile!

If you stalling.
Floor the gas. I mean gas pedal to the ground before tach hits rev limiter let go of clutch fast (pop clutch up)
tires will spin then start pressing brake so the car doesnt roll.. or rolls slowly if u want..

if ur stalling its probably because ur not flooring gas before u released the clutch.

It just takes some practice, at my last job I could take a civic off the lot and spin into third, you just gotta be quick lol(they just can't leave good long marks, just not nearly enough power) but your Camaro doesn't have a problem there lol

just keep trying till you get it right

Get on wet pavement. Dump clutch at 5,000 rpm and hold gas pedal at that spot to keep rpms up. Put left foot lightly on brake after you dump clutch. Let car move forward slowly entire time to prevent rear end from getting sideways. Counter steer in same direction rear end moves to keep car moving forward in straight line. Less brake to straighten out. Let off brake and drive out of burn out, then let off on gas pedal.

This is a video showing counter steer

Practice, practice, practice. I like to launch at 5500 or so with the heel toe method, pressing on the brakes too hard will end the fun. Gotta love the Brembos!! Once spinning back off the gas to keep the rpm's off the rev limiter, hold it there for however long you want then bang second and hold it to the floor. Make sure you are in a wide open place the first time you try it. If you really wanna have fun, turn left midway through second. Notice in the third pic, I am shifting into second. I know, I know to some people, tires are expensive...... to them I say so are hookers, drugs, gambling and getting arrested. Personally............I say tires are CHEAP!!! Smoke em if you can!
