Installed my CNT exhaust today!!!

Well guys, finally had my CNT Cat back exhaust installed today. First thing I have to say is WOW. It sounds amazing, a lot louder than the stock system. Yes, it still sounds like a V6 but I don't really care, it turned out a lot better than I expected. I'd describe the sound as deeper than stock, but it can get a nice rasp at high rpm's, nothing ricey. For now it seems to drone a bit, but nothing major.

Oh, and did I mention this only cost me 399$ shipped? Can't really beat that price

Here's a couple pictures:

And of course, it wouldn't be complete without a video. Not the best, but it's what my girl and I could record late at night in a kroger parking lot

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Wow for 399 thats an awesome deal. how much of a change in idle is the sound from stock? from the other videos i have seen it doesn't seem to make a drastic change in idle sound. But overall very nice

It's all stainless steel, and all the parts felt high quality. For now I have no complaints, seems like a quality exhaust

The price is what lured me into it, it's a little louder in person than on the video. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody looking for an exhaust right now.

Thanks man. Idle is a little deeper but not very loud, until you touch the gas it's actually only a little bit louder than stock. Once you touch the gas though it's pretty loud. Also, in the video my gf is kinda far away when I start it up which is probably why the idle sounds so quiet. In reality it is louder than stock and deeper, not by much though.

Neither had I, looked up some reviews and videos after I found the exhaust and people seemed to like it. I figured for 399 I could sell it to somebody else if I didn't like it. I love it though and definitely recommend it Wouldn't be surprised if I picked up a couple horses too, there's no mid resonator and a x pipe right after the cats. Plus, no pinches in the tubing like the factory exhaust had.

Well my friend works at Tire Discounters so I got what's called a "Family Discount" and they only charged me 50 bucks. I'd say a regular install would be around 100-150 or so. It was definitely lighter than stock, I had to carry the stock exhaust to my buddy's truck and it was definitely heavier than the CNT system.
