Hmmm..that depends on who (which dealer) you talk to. I had warranty work done on my Charger and the dealer that I took it to didnt seem to care if I was modded in anyway. The law says if the dealer can prove that your mod caused the issue that you are having fixed, then yes it does void the warranty for that particular part on the car. All rest of the warranty stays intact.

110% , 95% of the cars we build are STREET CARS. Including our 8 sec. C6Z06 corvette.
