San Antonio Camaro5 Club?

Hey guys I know I've posted like a "post whore" today but I really want to know who would be interested in joining a 5th gen Camaro club thing. When we all get our Camaro's I would really like to see the look of people's faces either at Bits Bugsbys or at the track or anywhere when 80 new Camaro's roll up. I would really want to start something up like this. Let me know who is interested.

I'm in San Antonio .. I go to BIFF BUZBY'S with my mustang .... so I suppose when I get the camaro I would be up for crusing over there in it ...

Where did you all order from and what is your expected delivery? If you know?

I was at Biffs last Friday night to see the yellow Camaro Tag posted about...lots and lots of folks there and I use to go there with my other car too...once or twice a month.

I'm sure we'll all meet some day once we get these things!

Hey there. I was at Biffs last Friday too. The GM let me get it and start it up. We spent 10 minutes or so going through all the features....as if I haven't studied them to NO END!

I'm interested in getting a bunch of these beauties together.

I am 3rd in line at Valmark in New Braunfels. They had one allocated in the first run.

How was Valmark? Heard mixed reviews on them?

I bought through Tom Benson and have had mixed dealings...Valmark is closer to me though and thought about using them after delivery for any work or other items?

Your thoughts?

i am in Laredo that sounds badass i could tell some of my f-body krew down here to see it they want to join. you guys have a new camaro at one of your dealerships already

Valmark - mixed feelings. The sales manager I have dealt with has good knowledge of what's going on with Camaro and has been fairly responsive. The price was MSRP, no mark-up, but the deposit was steep compared to everyone else. $2500, non-refundable. I live in Schertz, so they're the closest dealer. I spoke with the big new dealer outside San Marcos at the same time and they didn't have a clue. Last week Valmark said they have one slot still available. They had 10 allocations. I was originally in the 8 slot, but he told me I was #3 now. I presume this is from the V6 constraint.

Yeah we definately need to get this going once everyone gets their Camaro's. And DSlimbizkit, I'm getting the SLP hood though.. ;-) I ordered mine in February from Freedom Chevy off I-10 & 1604 so I'll be getting mine a little later than everyone else., plus I'm number 14 OF 14.

Thanks...I guess I'll stop by there once I have my Camaro and see...trial and error will be the method to finding a good dealer after delivery!

We'll certainly have to get together after we all take delivery...or maybe head out to each other's dealers for each delivery? I know the guys in Dallas are working on doing that for those who bought at Classic!

My dealer had an allocation on Thursday last week and I should hit 2500 (event code) tomorrow...guess we'll see.

Maybe I'll have the first one in SA?
