Camaro Tow Hooks are now available at Torq!

This is a must for all track day and drag race Camaro owners! As you guys are probably aware, the 2010 + Camaro does not have a designated or detachable tow hook like some European cars, and it is common to have issues when trying to pull the car if anything where to happen. The tow hook can be either bolted in, or welded (preferred) and comes in either Red Powder Coat or in a primer so it can be painted to match. Personally I will be doing mine in blue (go figure).

The tow hooks are laser cut using a High Definition Laser Cutter for near perfect dimensions with 3/16th thick hot rolled steel. The tow eyelet is 2 inch per most GCR (General Competition Rules) and of course comes with a TOW decal in either red or white. Besides having to remove the bumper, they are quite easy to install, especially of welding them in. Measure twice, weld once (or drill) as they say and you will be just fine.

I have been fortunate enough not to have had any issues with my Camaro on track, but I have in my Corvette and I was extremely happy to have had the tow hooks on her, it helped me get the car off the track in the shortest time possible, and with minimal to zero damage. We all know that the tow truck drivers are not always as careful with our cars when pulling them off track, and this item sure helps them to make their job easier without damaging our Camaros.

Correct, it attaches behind the actual crash bar and fits right through the lower grille. I have a black one and you can barely see it.

Does it attach to the crashbar, or to the structure behind it? I ask because I need a tow hook, but my crashbar has been removed to shave a few pounds off the front end.

Yes sir, it attaches to the actual crash bar support. It's not long enough to attach anywhere else I'm afraid!
