I pretty much keep my cars for a long time. I can't see me ever getting rid of the Camaro.

I get tired of any car. I think I'm already tired of my Camaro. It better hurry up and get here. I went through all this with my Solstice. Sold it 6 weeks after I got it. Got really tired of folding into it, not moving at all once in it and being subjected to more noise than a rock concert. Apparently from what I read here I wont have these issues with the Camaro.

I'm not one to swoon over cars enough to change out every few years. I'm sure I'll keep this car for a very long time. So I voted forever.

Well I'm actually not a car club person.

I am with you Visual Performance. I have gone through 12 cars in the last 5 or so years. Just about all of them brand new. I have been fortunate enough that I have gotten great deals where trading my cars back in I never lost any money. The most I lost was when i traded in my 04 jetta for a Accord once my son was born and i lost 400 dollars.

I have tried to make a vow to my self to try and keep a car. And what better way to start then with the camaro. I have always gotten tired of my cars after a year or so. But I have always settled and never got what I really wanted. So I am hoping that since i will be getting just about everything I really want that I can keep this car. I also like to give to my son when he gets old enough. We will see

We're always trying to define what an enthusiast is.

This may be one of those differences between a fan of the car and a true enthusiast of Camaros.

An enthusiast will do whatever they can to keep the car as long as they can...

My 2 cents...

I always thought I'd keep my '95, then, when it was announced production would cease with the '02, and seeing how great the LS1 is/was, I had to trade it in. When I got my '02, I didn't think I'd ever see a new Camaro, let alone fall in car-love with it like I have. I'm not sure it can get any better than what it is (and hopefullly, what it might be in a few years) and plan on keeping this car until I can't drive it. Then, I'll have to pass it on to my son or grandson to hopoefully enjoy. However, I've always told my wife I wanted to be buried in my car, LOL.

FOREVER

If I can afford to do it, I will keep this one as an instant classic and buy a newer model in a couple years when they have HUD and ABL and a few other things worked out. Probably a vert that would only see sunny days.

It will be... now what? I like the 5th Gens a lot and unless it turns out to be a giant turd (not likely from what I've seen) I'll keep it forever.
