Does anyone know, yet, if the USB port can be added to the 1SS. I realize it is not an option from the factory, nor the dealer, but I am wondering if the wiring is already in place in the console or perhaps there is an easy plug-in located in the back of the radio unit?

I'd like to add this option after I get my car. I am sure everyone would. Hard to imagine this would be difficult and much different from the 2SS. TIA!

ITs exactly the same and I'm pretty sure you can get it from the dealer. look on www.gmaccessories.com

I know this may be a little off subject but where is the auxillary jack located? can u use the 3.5mm cord to play music from my iPhone?

I'll have to get Dave to call - I thought they said in Chicago it could not be put in the 1SS - only the 1LT (Standard in 2LT and 2SS)

i believe the aux port is in the center console (center arm rest thing). yes, you can use the 3.5mm cord to play music.

Exactly what I am trying to find out. The upgrade to the BA system in the 1SS is the same as the standard radio in the 2SS so access to the USB should be exactly the same. Just have to figure out how to get to it. And $179 for a cable and connector is unbelievably overpriced. Shouldn't be more than $15 tops.
