Just for safety reasons while testing a hand built prototype on a dangerous track, standard procedure for GM.

I know they had Z/28s in the 60's, but did they have to take LSD just to go along with that era?.. Jefferson Airplane albums may have a comeback as well...lol... |

I think GM always puts a roll bar in for these type of tests.

I am really trying to love the new look for the Camaro, but I am failing so far. The body looks too generic and rather dull, starting from the taillights to the way it has been squeezed. And the head lights, they are squinting! They are so uncomfortable to look at. And from a specs point of view, I don't see anything that is as appealing as the MyLink they added to the 2013 model. With that being said, I am buying a new 2013 Camaro on my birthday this May. I really hope that one of you could convince me to wait. This is really tough!

I will agree I like the 2010-2013 rear much better. However the front (which I didn't like immediately) I prefer. It is both more aerodynamic and more aggressive looking, great job! The cool thing is the 2014 rear could be replaced with an earlier one.

Damn that's a hell of a hop on the track right there where the concrete ends.

Great video! Just thinking out loud here, the camo'd ZL1 videos came out a few months before the reveal. Is it possible that this video (and the photos) were taken several months ago, and they were not released until now? They may have been just starting tests on the suspension which could explain the bouncy rear.
