I bought 2 different license plate mounts at autozone for $9 and sat around a while thinking of a way to mount the plate without touching the bumper, the dealer installed a factory bracket that covered the bumper and it looked so ugly. I ran without a front plate in CA for over 10 years, with 3 of those years in San Diego with a supercharged Grand Prix. Never got stopped.

What drove me banana crackers when I lived in TX was that you had to put the reg stickers in the front windshield!

I didn't think that the DIC showed a speed of 136 on startup...But since ABS is acting up and since the traction and stabilitrak lights are off...I'd venture to bet this might be a burnout or at the dragstrip

Nope, not legal to have it on the dash in California. It must be mounted to the front of the vehicle.

That being said, 3 years and 7 months still no one has told me to put on my front plate.

Yes, you are right - but they are doing away with that and going with one Reg/Insp sticker next year.
