Rims?

I've noticed in the past few years every auto maker seems to be making their stock rims ...... Big

So i'm gonna go out on a limb and guess the 5th gen camaro will come out with 20's? or anything above 16 lol

I'm sure GM will make it almost identical to the Vettes. They know better than to put anything on it too big or too small that takes away from the car's looks OR performance.

as i posted before ,if you look at the picture in cam, the rims look very large and fill the wheel well up nicely. the side wall is also noticeably smaller than if it were a 17 or 18" rim. so i believe the concept has 20's on it. but take it for what its worth.

I really like these. Maybe a bit larger though. Anyway these are from the Pontiac G8 prototype.

I think...for cost purposes, the rims may be the same size all around. But the high-end would prolly have a setup like the vette's larger rears.

Personally, and I'm willing to bet only personally, I think the Convertible Concept's rims just kick every other rim's ass on the planet.

My guess would be that GM gives the Camaro the same wheel-size all the way around to help with cost and to actually allow you to rotate your tires! I haven't seen the concept in person, so I'm not sure how big of a difference you can really tell between the front and back tires. And I've not seen a Z06 up close and personal either. Can anyone tell a difference between fronts and backs on them?

I think GM should stick with the wheels the concept has on it NOW as the stock rims that come out. I would be happy with them until I can afford to get my Torq-Thrust M's on that baby Unless I decide I like the look of the factory wheels better? Mmmmm... Not sure about that one... But I do like the concepts wheels.

Does anyone else think the concepts wheels look like the wheels on a Mazda RX-8???

i was reading that the concept has 20s front and 21s in the rear. and that the size of the sheel would be decreased for marketing purposes. they were looking at an 18-19 inch wheel prolly the same all around.

I'd rather have the same size all the way around, for ease of rotation and buying new tires.

Yeah, I read something like that too, not sure where I read it though.
