HIGHLY INTRESTED IN VOSSENS! OPINIONS WELCOMED!

What's going on guys? While I've been deployed so far I've been trying to debate what rims I want on my 2016 2ss thats home just sitting in my boys garage. I'm really interested in going with the 22' Vossen CG 203's in gloss black or the Axe EX20's with SS center caps, which are concaves as well. Definitely want my Camaro to be unique and different, but we are talking a $4k price jump to the Vossens. Any pros and cons from current vossen owners out there? My salesman who is a big advocate and an owner of vossens told me the Axe wheels are heavy and that the rivets around the flange look cheap. Really trying to outweigh my options. Any response is appreciated!

I definitely feel you! I got quoted over $8k for the Vossens which is why I'm leaning towards the other rims. I could use that extra cash for something else.

8k for rims and tires? Someone is smoking crack, or selling it, to pay that price.

I say invest in what you desire so that its a worthwhile investment and you dont invest more to makeup for just holding yourself back for a bit.

I want to make the most logical decision, but it does cost to play.

I've noticed over the years my rim budget keeps getting smaller and smaller. I love rims, but just dont feel good about spending a lot for them anymore..

I've been doing my homework on Vossen for quite sometime now and it's seems like they are really involved with their owners and nobody can compete as far as wheel quality.

I'm not here to bash on Vossen Forged, but Forgeline, HRE and ADV1 can compete with them too. Those three for sure are the cream of the crop when it comes to custom wheels.

As a long time multiple Viper owner with the stupid OEM six lug configuration, I'm all too familiar with custom forged wheels and their costs. That's been one of the cool things with the Camaro is all the "cheaper" wheels for $1500-3000 out there. Sure, the fitments aren't always as perfect as a custom forged wheel, but there's something to be said for saving $5000 and putting that towards a supercharger too

I was close to doing a set of Vossens 4 years ago on my 5th Gen SS. But got a better deal on a set of TSW Nurburgrings. I love everything about Vossen's except the price. But you do have to pay to play. But you can still play without paying too much!

Their price is up there, but for their Cast and Flow Forged series you get a pretty badass warranty.

Their forged wheels arent for everyone but I do love their CG series and LC series. Something about that design always draws me to it.
