UPDATE: just heard back from the hotel manager at the sun mountain lodge. They do not have any specials for groups <20. Larger groups are more than welcome and were attractive.

I'll be sticking with the Rio then.

I'm hoping my car will be fixed by May 1st. It should just be 3-4 weeks, but who knows if parts are available.

Even if it isn't ready, I'll go in my Impala...

Wow saw the thread abut the wreck. I think the Rio Vista is going to be the best bet. Will make my reservations later on in April. gotta plan ahead.

Talking to the repair shop, looks like my car will be ready in the next 2 weeks (I hope).

Just a bump to remind people that this is coming up soon (just over a month now).

Room at the Rio Vista is booked. We are go for Camaro launch May 1st. I'm also going to get a room in Bellingham on Friday as well. Taking the day off to see some sights on the way up.

Our room booked as of a minute ago. Just a week before, update the meeting location and time would be great. Need to know when I need to leave from Port Orchard over in Kitsap County. Thanks.

Bellingham is about 2hrs 45 min from Gig Harbor. If you drive around. Not sure about using the ferry.

I'm still planning on leaving Bellingham at 8:30am, but will be there earlier.

It's a bit of a drive from Port Orchard, according to Google Maps about 2 hours 45 minutes, and you would take the Fauntleroy/Southworth ferry. If you didn't want to drive all the way up north, you could meet us in Mt. Vernon. If we leave Bellingham, it would probably take us 40-45 minutes to get there, though we might stop for pictures along the way on Chuckanut. I'll be bringing both my camera and video camera along.

Let me know what you want to do. If you want to meet in Mt. Vernon, you can PM me and I'll get you my phone number so that we can keep in contact that morning so we can meet.

If I'm counting correctly, it looks like 3 people besides myself have booked a hotel in Winthrop so far. That's cool, though I'm hoping a few more might commit to going as the cruise approaches.

Looking forward to it! Heck, I'm looking forward to getting my Camaro back next week sometime (I hope).
