The first and third graphs are the LS3, and the second is the M3.
The M3 graph is different units i.e. KW instead of HP and NM instead of Ft-lbs. The LS3 graph shows rear wheel numbers that is why it is only showing the 390 rwhp instead of the 430 bhp.

Well. consider this the LS 2 with minor work hell 1200 can be made to 455 ( slp bobcat ) Not saying the BMW can't be worked on for any car can but now your talking who owns the car... if it's a true driver/car enthusiast yes. but most "beemer" drivers are snobs with a superior attitude. Handling on the camaro will soon see quick upgrades too as Saleen and Steeda are both said to be on track with roush.
the camaro's will be absolute beasts. and if they aren't they soon will be with the addition of the super charged engine used to run against the "cobra/gt500"

What about Bummer...?
Though, if you think about it, why type out all those letters to abreviate the brand name...when you could just type out B-M-W... Ironic, yes? |

when i talk to people about it...they know that the camaro is going to be feared by a lot of people and that it's going to be powerful, fast, and not many vehicles will come close to beating it

-But there's this one guy, who's a great guy altogether, but he hates ALL GM vehicles, I don't argue - becuase he's good - he'll be able to counter EVERYTHING I say...:o. And the argument will last the whole night. He claims that because GM still uses Pushrod technology in their sports cars, that makes them inferior, and altogether bad. I tell him - why fix something that's not broken. the C6 has broken all sorts of records, and both engines are pushrod...at which he shrugs and goes back to work. It's all in good fun. But it'll be interesting to see what people think of this new Car.... |

I have started to wonder if this is all going to be too much of a good thing. there is no way that gm can deliver the performance we expect at the price we expect, can they? I really hope they do but . . .

#2:They've (Bob Lutz, Ed Peper) stated that it HAS to be affordable - like all the Camaro's before it. I wouldn't worry too much. Do you realize how many GM devotees they will lose if they piss 'em off by botching this project up? |

I know thats been said . . . but it just doesn't seem possible. We will probably get a good idea at next years detroit auto show. Odds are thats when they will release some details such as which engines are going in, possibly even show the final design. But we will know all the details in less than 550 days -they should be on sale by then.
