HAHAHAHA yet they still pay out the @$$ in Insurance! Not to mention it will be their only mode of transportation. SO that's another $50 a week. So even if an E-4 who makes approx. 1800-1900 a month (was about the same when I was Honorably Discharged in 2006) they might be able to save enough to put a large down payment on a 2SS, depending on what options they want. If they were smart get a P.O.S. like I did, run around in it for about 7 years while saving up money, ie. investments, savings bonds, CDs, mutual funds, 3-6 months of savings. Get out of the military and find a contract job or civil service job in relation to what you did in the military.... (believe me they have them!) You make almost 4 times as much as you did in the military. (At least I do, and I only have my High School Diploma and Military Training). By this time you'll be about 23-25 yrs old, insurance will be much lower, you'll have money saved, and you'll have a good paying job that'll get you those lower interest rates considering you didn't destroy your credit. You'll be able to continue saving money while living extremely comfortably considering you don't have expensive tastes. Also you'll be a pimp daddy in your brand new ride and have a pretty good nest egg if one of those ladies comes running back saying she's pregant! If not then you'll be as lucky as I have

Yea...you dont pay 150 a month for 3 vehicles deffinately having a new SS..really dude..if you only pay 150 for 3 vehicles i need to check on gettin some insurance there...

Why is that so hard to believe? I pay 59/month for my 2SS? 50/month for my TBSS...When I had my mustang GT I paid 47/month...Full coverage on all with allstate

I pay a little bit more for my SS, but NJM or Allstate is the only way to go in Jersey!
