I've owned countless GM vehicles and continue to buy them. Just like most auto makers their quality has had highs and lows but most of my GM vehicles have been bullet proof! I've had my 1994 Cadillac DeVille for years; it has 160k very hard miles on it and it still runs like new. I used to have a 01 Suburban that I had lifted and driven the hell out of every day and I never had to replace anything but the water pump after reaching 120k miles.

So far with 22k miles on our 2010 V6 the only problem was a diverter door in the AC broke in the first couple months. Replaced under warranty and since then no problems.
I have a 2007 HHR with no problems other than the sway bar ends seemed to wear out prematurely. They started clunking at 40K miles, I replaced them with Moog parts that seem much stronger and have grease fittings. It now has almost 60K miles. I bought a used 2001 Chevy Tracker last fall, it was built in Canada joint venture with Suzuki. With 171k miles on it the only thing worn out is the power window tracks, I replaced the drivers side and need to replace the passengers side. Even the 4WD works perfectly.

According to the Consumer Reports April 2011 Auto issue, the 2010 Camaro has better reliability than ANYTHING from Toyota. Check it out! No need to have Toyota reliability envy in a Camaro. And our cars only accelerate when we ask them to (boy do they!).

Over almost 12K miles the only mechanical problem I've had was that I needed a belt replaced. Otherwise I had a bowtie replaced for it chipping and my HIDs because someone who assembled them had greasy fingers.
