ZL-1 Back! Sorta...

Did a quick search and I didn't see any posts on this already, so I guess I should let those of you with money read this article.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont...1.44fd326.html

Limited reproduction of the Mystery ZL-1 from 1969 (Aluminum block 427). God I wish I has 21,000 laying around just to snatch up one.

You could order the block by itself still and build one yourself. I'm suprised they only developed this engine as more of a street engine for a rod or something. The original was a dragstrip engine so I would've figured they would've put the big port heads, like that of the 572s, and make that thing a beast of an engine instead of the driver that ended up.

Oh well. Big blocks are so yesterday. Big bore small blocks with superchargers FTMFW!!!

The article was wrong... the anniversary edition is an aluminum block.
Anniversary edition 427
